How I have made profitable my summer holidays

I am a student. All students need to find solutions to « survive » financially ; and for that, everybody knows summer jobs !

For this year, and like last year, I decide to search a summer job, principally to earn money and to make profitable my summer holidays. Last year, I worked for E.Leclerc next to Bordeaux, where I lived . This year, I have the opportunity to work for E.Leclerc next to Paris.

To find a summer job is not really easy. Personally, I choose spontaneous application, that is writing motivation letter and CV and bringing directly that for each concerned shops or enterprises. My research begins on internet, I search each enterprise that could interest me. Also, this year, I test job boards ; these are web site where you can see many job advertised. In despite of some applications, I only receive refusals. This year, I can have my summer job thank to acquaintance and friends. Unfortunately, a network of contact is better than all ! This year so, I am working with my friend.

Anyway ; my function is « grocery department employee ». Briefly, it consists in filling shelfs of the hypermarket. My sphere of action is the grocery department, with pasta, rice, canned food, biscuits, coffee, baby products, oils, sweets, etc. Much food !

In my opinion, that is a good experience. There is a nice atmosphere. The work is more easy thank to my friend’s attendance. I am happy of this job, and I am ready to do the same next year.
